WHO ARE THE PARTNERS?

The LIFE Study is implemented by a consortium, led by the Mozambican Ministry of Health’s Instituto Nacional de Saúde (INS). It comprises highly recognized institutions with complementary expertise including study conduct (INS, MMRC, LMU), HIV virology (IUEM, LMU), implementation of large scale care and treatment programs (CHAI) and policy making (INS, MMRC, CHAI). All partners have been collaborating for many years in several successful projects and some of their studies in the field of point-of-care (PoC) diagnostics have provided evidence for WHO Guidelines.

LIFE Study is primarily funded by EDCTP, the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials (www.edctp.org), under the Grant Agreement RIA2016-MC-1615. The Study also have other public and private co-funding (Unitaid; Abbot; Mylan).
